Can Maneka case be interpreted other way round to follow "due process of law" only to deny the right under article 21?

Can SC ,in order to deliver proper justice,interpret Maneka case such that if the law protecting the rights under Art. 21 of the accused,defies the purpose of itself,then the "due process of law" must follow to deny those rights? (eg. Hyd. rape case)
